Leaching Modell: RELiEF coordinator ABEE presents their work at ELLIS summer school
The ELLIS summer school on Collaborative and Generative AI (CoGenAI), hosted by the ELLIS Unit Helsinki and co-organized by ELISE, took place at Aalto University in Finland from July 1st to 5th 2024.
As a training opportunity for graduate students and researchers interested in learning about generative models and human-AI collaboration, representatives from ABEE went all the way up to Finland to present their work on leaching modelling!
Hao Wu, researcher from ABEE, presented his work on the implementation of Machine Learning for the battery industry and battery recycling, including the results from the leaching process modelling in the RELiEF project. The poster session at the ELLIS summer school was open to all participants, most of whom are researchers in the field of Machine Learning from various universities and research institutions.
Process modeling in the RELiEF project is crucial for identifying the parameters that significantly impact the final Li recovery yield. The machine learning models developed within the project will support the optimization and scaling up of project processes for the demonstration at the end of the project.
